Many people sign in to Mafia Wars feeling eager to level up. Who doesn’t hope to have the Master Boss title in front of their name? And Mafia Wars is definitely created to reinforce gaining ground in the levels – for example, you can’t access Cuba until 35 and you can’t visit Moscow until 70.
Here are a few Mafia Wars level up fundamentals. You level up when you acquire a set amount of experience points. Maniac characters also have an advantage in speed leveling with either technique because of the fast refill of energy points built into that character. Using fights to level up may be the Mogul’s best choice, since they are hamstrung without energy perks the other characters enjoy.
Job centered leveling is a peaceful way to level up faster. In level 1-100, you’ll assign most of your skill points into your energy stat. Pursue on job mastery and tier mastery all the time. Every job in a job tier required different inputs of energy and consumables and yields different experience, cash, and loot. You’ll have to hold yourself back from jumping into the new tiers that open to you as you level up; wait until you’ve mastered the jobs and the tier all 3x. Within each tier, return to Mafia Wars jobs that output more experience for your energy investment. It may seem like slow game play at first, but this sets you up to dominate the upper tiers. Don’t overlook the value of the skill points you’ll earn as you do job based leveling, or the money, equipment, and tier mastery bonuses. (You’re monster energy stat will also come in handy in Mafia Wars Moscow.)
Fight centered leveling is another thing altogether. To prepare to attack over and over you’ll need to assign skill points to energy and stamina. You’ll also need to collect a decent sized crew and arm yourself with specials or limited edition loot to get a successful start in the fighting path. One of the best things of this way of leveling is that you’ll soon acquire the best equipment from Cuba and NYC and loads of money from your targets. You’ll want to do a job as your last energy output before you level up, since a job experience yield will give you a boost that’s more experience point volume than a fight. Find a good attack automation tool to avoid spraining your finger initiating fights, and pity your prep job overloaded job leveling acquaintance.
To be sure, a marriage of job and fight leveling can be effective and is (likely) the most fun. Since the typical fight has the best experience:energy ratio than nearly all the jobs, begin each level by fighting until you zero out your stamina. And then switch over to doing jobs. You’ll still be gaining job mastery and energy pool, but the advantages of fighting – cash, loot, high experience yield – will be yours, as well. Who says you can’t have the best of both worlds for Mafia Wars leveling?
